We hereby welcome you again to our B&B website.
Our names are René and Marije Allemekinders – van de Kreeke and we are the proud owners of Discovery bed and breakfast (Access more B&B information through the relevant web links).
Starting a B&B in Botswana is not something you do just like that. We had been thinking about it for quite some time, but had difficulty finding an appropriate location and country which matched our expectations, when, after a year as volunteers in Botswana we knew that Botswana was our dream country and place to start a B&B. We then went through a lengthy preparatory period before finalising the organisation of acquiring this B&B.
We are both from Zeeland, a Dutch coastal province and are proud of our ancestral country. René was in the Durch army a few years and has also been active in the construction business.
Marije worked as an occupational therapist from 1996 with the last 5-6 years employed by Visio, an institution that specialises in research and rehabilitation of the blind and visually handicapped.
During our volunteer work (2006) we explored Botswana through extensive travel to gain detailed insight into its climate, nature, people and culture.
We would like to share our knowledge en travel experiences with our guests, for instance during our offered traditional dinner in front of a fireplace.
